At RRP, we’re setting bold, inclusive goals for the year. Here’s how we approach sustainable planning—and how you can, too.
Goal-setting is powerful—especially when it’s community-led.
At the Rural Resilience Project, our 2025 goals center around expanding access to environmental restoration funding, supporting multilingual technical assistance, and removing barriers to rural participation in state programs.
These aren’t abstract goals—they’re rooted in lived experience. We’ve seen the impact of intentional planning in wildfire recovery, climate readiness, and community healing.
Here are three questions we use when setting sustainable goals:
1. Who benefits from this work?
2. Who’s currently being left out?
3. What barriers can we help remove?
Whether you’re a landowner, organizer, or agency partner, now’s the time to reflect and recalibrate. Let’s move into 2025 with bold ideas and a shared commitment to equity, resilience, and rural strength.
